II. League Structure & Play
The PAFFL-OG consists of 16 franchises. There are no divisions, nor conferences; though there once were. Teams battle head-to-head during a 13-week regular season, hoping to advance to a 3-week, single-elimination playoff. The season culminates in the Week 17 championship known as the Jankster Cup. ← Trumpets sound and clouds part here 🎺🌤

Less experienced players refer to our league structure as "super-flex". To us, it's just the way we've done things for decades.
Injured Reserve Spots (IR)
When an NFL team declares that a player is hurt (Questionable / Doubtful / Out / IR), the PAFFL-OG team owning that player may put him on the IR spot mentioned above. When/if the player is eventually declared active by his NFL team, he becomes active once again in the PAFF-OG. The owner must return the player to his/her active roster. If necessary, the owner must announce a cut to make space for the returning player within one week of the player’s activation. If the owner fails to announce a cut before the deadline, when one is required, the IR player is automatically cut and returned to the free agent pool. Injured reserve spots are not a tradable asset.
