On Saturday, after the auction, we exchange players white elephant style. Participation is voluntary. The White Elephant begins when each participating owner writes the name of one of their players on a piece of paper and folds it so the player’s name is not visible. Into the hat they go.

Submitted players must not be on a contract that doesn't expire at the end of the current season. No long-term transfer of contractual obligation is allowed.

The draw order is determined by the number of fantasy points the player you submitted the prior year scores. Bench points count.

At each owner’s turn, they may draw a player from the hat, or steal a player that had been drawn by a prior owner.

No WE player may be stolen more than twice.

8. Rosterbation

After weeks and weeks of meticulous preparation, days of tinkering with spreadsheet formulas, and then several hours of intense blow by blow bidding, on Saturday afternoon, PAFFL owners inevitably slide into a quiet corner somewhere... away from prying eyes... They grab a magazine, or visit their favorite website, and begin... rosterbating. Gently stroking their carefully crafted roster sheets in a haze of post-auctial bliss, owners imagine their perfect lineup and potential deals.

IV. Administration & Operations

The league dues are $400 per owner per season.

Administrative Fees

In addition to league dues, which fund our prize money, an additional administrative fee will be added to each member’s annual dues after the auction. This fee will be determined by dividing the sum of expenses by the number of league members. Expenses include things such as:

Website fees

The league meal

Draft house AirBnB rental

Jankster Cup engraving

Etc.

Prize Money

Prize money is distributed based on playoff performance and weekly high scores throughout the season.
