2010 represents the eigth consecutive season that Peyton Manning has been on one of the Jankster Cup (the PAFFL's Super Bowl matchup, played every year in NFL week 16) starting QB's, in essence leading his squad to the promise land. Which got me to thinking how important the QB position is relative to RB or WR and hos remarkable Peyton Manning's consistency has been over the past decade, not just for fantasy footballers but the NFL in general.

All NFL teams have started camp (or will have by the end of today), with most NFL rosters nearly final (sans injury replacements), its time to look at the top rookies for the dynasty/keeper, deep league of the PAFFL. Remember these are NOT necessarily the rookies who will put up the best numbers in 2010 but over the next two to four years will be the most valuable. Also the $ amount refers to a 16 team league with $500 yearly salary cap with the projected selecting PAFFL team.

Unlike what we witnessed in '09 where there were essentially only 2 of the top 15 fantasy quarterbacks open and available at this year's annual auction (Tom Brady & Peyton Manning), due to expiring contracts, this next year's auction will see approximately 8 of the top 15 open.
