2012 NFL Fantasy Rookie Preview

It's still very early to be predicting fantasy rookie players to make an impact in 2012.  What's still not known is how many of the underclassmen enter (losing Matt Barkley didn't help) the draft, this is shaping up to be a strong draft at the top (1st & 2nd round) for skill position talent and deep in the middle rounds across the board.  I bracketed into buckets the fantasy skill position talent, however much of this will be predicated on where each player is selected and the situation they end up in.  

Ricky Williams for money.

Here's a small deal to announce.  Team Kitty sends RB Ricky Williams to BINGO for $1 in 2012.  BINGO drops TE Travis Beckum to make room for Williams.

Tom Brady for Chris Johnson

This is a broader, more complex overall deal but at the end of the day the core pieces are Brady & CJ2K.  

Tony Romo for Beanie Wells...

Another relatively big deal announced in the PAFFL today.  

Matt Cassel for Miles Austin & Stevan Ridley

In one of the bigger deals of this season, though much smaller than Chris Johnson & Calvin Megatron Johnson for Phillip Rivers, this one will impact the playoff races in both the AFC & NFC conferences.  

South Whore Jibbers ships WR Miles Austin & RB Stevan Ridley ($3, '13) to the BeaverCats for QB Matt Cassel ($55, '13).  

Post Week 2 Sunday Thoughts...

Below are some random thoughts following week 2 (sans MNF game).  It's been an incredible aerial attack to kick off the 2011 NFL season, I can't imagine this pace will continue.

The Rich (Eagles) Get Richer

Are any of the other 31 NFL teams actually in the market to improve their squads this offseason?  Thanks to the lockout there feels like only a handful of teams are active, and the winners of this abbreviated offseason goes easily to the Philadelphia Eagles.
