NFL Rookie Projections 2010

All NFL teams have started camp (or will have by the end of today), with most NFL rosters nearly final (sans injury replacements), its time to look at the top rookies for the dynasty/keeper, deep league of the PAFFL.  Remember these are NOT necessarily the rookies who will put up the best numbers in 2010 but over the next two to four years will be the most valuable.  Also the $ amount refers to a 16 team league with $500 yearly salary cap with the projected selecting PAFFL team.    

Ben Roethlisberger for $ & a future pick

It's been all quiet on the PAFFL front but that's about to change in a big way over the past three weeks leading up to the 2010 auction.  Hopefully this deal with help prime the pump and get the 2010 season kicked off.  

Peyton Manning for Big Ben & stuff...

The names don't get much bigger, no way this type of deal goes down in the real world given Ben Roethlisberger's current legal & image problems but its a fun one to contemplate in fantasy land.  

Final 2009 Regular Season Standings

Below are the final standings for the 2009 PAFFL regular season.  Now comes the fun, the single elimination playoff round that started on Thursday with the surprising Cleveland Browns upset of the defending super bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers.  Have you seen a bigger collapse out of a defending super bowl champ, folding down the stretch. 

Plenty of Stud PAFFL QB's Available in '10

Unlike what we witnessed in '09 where there were essentially only 2 of the top 15 fantasy quarterbacks open and available at this year's annual auction (Tom Brady & Peyton Manning), due to expiring contracts, this next year's auction will see approximately 8 of the top 15 open. 

Ben Roethlisberger & stuff for Eli Manning & stuff: Fantasy Football Trade

Huge fantasy football deal in the PAFFL this past week between the Fightin' Irie and Firkin Crawlers.  This is a major deal that could have a big impact down the stretch.
