Here's a small deal to announce.  Team Kitty sends RB Ricky Williams to BINGO for $1 in 2012.  BINGO drops TE Travis Beckum to make room for Williams.

Tom Brady for Chris Johnson

This is a broader, more complex overall deal but at the end of the day the core pieces are Brady & CJ2K.  

Curtis Painter for $1...

Team Kitty acquires QB Curtis Painter ($1, '12) for $1 in '12 from the Strongfighters.

Tony Romo for Beanie Wells...

Another relatively big deal announced in the PAFFL today.  

Philipp Rivers for Josh Johnson & a rookie pick

In the most extreme example of the long-term nature of the PAFFL, this trade deadline deal further shifts the balance of power from the AFC to the NFC.

Brady Quinn for Demaryius Thomas...

Palo Alto Short Bus sends WR Demaryius Thomas to Beavercats for QB Brady Quinn ($11, '13) and $5 in '12.  The $ liability is waived if Quinn starts four games or delivers a minimum of 15 paffl fantasy points twice this year.  

Quinn wasn't surprised, "I've been doubted for a couple years now but I'm finally in the right mental perspective to succeed.  I've always had the physical tools but at this level you've got to have more than that.  I'm excited to be joining the Short Bus, I'm going to kill it for them."

Sleeper Move of the Year

An offshoot of the mid-season report is a quick look at the top trades of the season from two perspectives.  The first is what was the best deal for a single team, I'm calling this the "Steal of the Year" and the second is the most balanced, which I'm calling "Win-Win".  

Brandon Jacobs for a rookie pick

This is a classic PAFFL, trade deadline deal, though in this particular example it took place several weeks before the deadline as the rush to decide whether you're in or out is happening.  

Matt Moore for '12 cash....

If you say this looks like a deal that was just announced, well you'd be right.  With the changing winds of the league week by week, QB Matt Moore became disposable for South Whore.  

Matt Cassel for Miles Austin & Stevan Ridley

In one of the bigger deals of this season, though much smaller than Chris Johnson & Calvin Megatron Johnson for Phillip Rivers, this one will impact the playoff races in both the AFC & NFC conferences.  

South Whore Jibbers ships WR Miles Austin & RB Stevan Ridley ($3, '13) to the BeaverCats for QB Matt Cassel ($55, '13).
