In what is likely the start of a flood of fantasy football trades across the US, it's certainly a kickoff for the PAFFL 2011 auction season (next weekend) dealing.  

Revised Fantasy Football Rookie Predictions

With the PAFFL auction less than a month out (and hopefully the NFL lock out coming to an end shortly), I wanted to post a revised prediction on rookie picks for 2011.  

2011 Fantasy Football Rookie Rankings

I love the NFL draft because it creates some clarity for team depth charts and most importantly brings new talent into the league.  This year, thanks to the lockout, the draft takes on more importance than any other over the past 24 years I've been following the draft, because there's been no free agency or trades, thus resulting in NFL teams applying need based selections more than I can remember in past drafts.  

Brett Favre for LaDainian Tomlinson

The Pomona Stoned Hens and Isotopes completed a big name fantasy trade, though it will be interesting to see whether both guys limp into the 2nd half of the '10 season.  

Sidney Rice for Roy Williams & Zach Miller

A relatively big playoff move trade was completed early by the Naughty Thoughts, and BINGO has officially thrown in the towel with this deal.  

Donovan McNabb, Thomas Jones, Marques Colston for Jahvid Best

Team Kitty and the Los Frijoles Pintos completed the first 2010 in season blockbuster.  

Matt Leinart for Sidney Rice + 14th pick

South Whore Jibbers acquires the rights to QB Matt Leinart ($55, '09) from Naughty Thoughts for WR Sidney Rice ($9, '10) and the 14th pick in the 2010 rookie draft and 1 DS spot in 2010.

Jake Delhomme & Spare Parts Dealt in a 3 way

This is a one of those unique, minor, likely won't factor into anything but its great to be talking deal in the off-season type of fantasy football deals. 

Brett Favre Returns!

No PAFFL franchise has had a stronger post auction training camp than the Pomona Stoned Hens. Not only did they receive a nice boost from Michael Vick who now is inline to start a handful of games when Donovan McNabb comes down with some injury but they just upgraded their lineup in a major fashion with the news of Brett Favre coming out of retirement. Kudos to them for having the forsight and luck to pick both of those guys up.
