This just in, the LA Isotopes think I have officially sold my soul to the devil by taking Leinart. The Leinart/Quinn combo is making his head explode from their douche bag-ness.

Naughty is building a powerhouse with a bunch of key players under contract at below market value: Rivers ($76), E. Manning, Sidney Rice ($9), Antonio Bryant ($1), Shonn Greene ($55), Fred Jackson ($11), Pierre Thomas ($57), Ahmad Bradhsaw ($55) Dallas Clark ($22), and he's got $200 to go get Andre Johnson and Eli Manning. NT will win his division for sure. Ride my wave people, I predicted J Lin in the NBA in 2008.

The AFC North is easily the toughest division in the PAFFL. Naughty is looking the strongest they have been since our title game. PASB are the defending champs and the Trippers have CJ and Randy Moss with tons of cash for a #1 QB.

Jibs, you gonna 3 yr Matt "Hot Tub" Leinart @ $80?

    Jibaholic

I'll think about it while I hot tub with Weaver over Derek Anderson in Tahoe. Don't forget to vote to go big!

Analysis: This is a solid trade that sets the increasing value placed on starting QB's even higher. This deal means Leinart will almost certainly be heldover at $80, and allows the Jibbers to focus their $$ & time on adding a starting RB and future talent at the auction. While this deal gives the Naughty Thoughts another starter at WR and leaves them with only one hole heading into the auction, QB, which is where Eli Manning's rights come into play.

    It's time to realign.

    Bring back the old divisions!!!!

Without this deal, I never do the Derek Anderson trade which is looking like a steal now.

    Beavercats

true but it'll end up costing somewhere around $110 (give or take a few) to own the Arizona starting QB this year.

We all waste money though...I know I certainly have and regret it now :(

The lesson learned is to avoid trade for players that you know are whinny douche bags

    Jibaholic

Actually TK paid Derek Anderson's contract. I'm only out $91 :)

    Math police

But you also spent money on Hartley and Thomas and then traded them away...

    RonJeremy

lol pwned by the math police!

If Derek Anderson can replicate 2007 stats, it will be worth it.

    Beavercats

very true re: whinny douche bags...though I kind of feel like Leinart's gotten a raw deal given his stats and limited opportunities this preseason. But oh well..
