nice....nice....sorry to miss the meetings, but I was able to clear my head and come up with some important ideas. Can I get on the pre-auction schedule in August for 10-15 mins? I have a powerpoint entitled "Trading Derivatives in the PAFFL" that I would like to share with my fellow owners.

    RonJeremy

    Ah yeah...Matthews baby.

    What are trading derivatives?

Is this where you show that trading with Team Kitty is bad for your squad?

    todd

I think Tate, Claussen, and McCoy all go for $55.

Tate, because he could end up the main guy in Houston...

Classen and McCoy because both of them are in line to start in 2011. If you pay $55 this year and DS them, you've got a starting QB for the next three years after that... and three more at $80 following. So yes, you overpay $15-20, but you're getting a starting QB and that extra $ averaged over the 6 years of the playing contract is pennies.

I love that Todd is trying to drive up the prices on rookies. I agree Tate could easily end up at $55 but Clausen and McCoy would be expensive (IMO) at $55 when in the open auction (remember these are a 2nd round & 3rd round NFL picks, not 1st rounders). In the open auction there is NO way they come even close to $50.

    NT

NT does not own the #9 pick...but does own #7 and #8....talk to me!

    Team Kitty

    1) Matthews
    2) Spiller
    3) Best
    4) Tate
    5) Bradford
    6) Gerhart
    7) Hardesty
    8) Clausen
    9) McCoy
    10) McCluster
    11) Tebow
    12) Dez Bryant
    13) Dwyer
    14) G. Tate
    15) Dixon
    16) McNight

    Team Kitty

TK owns the 12 pick, not SF.

    EBF

$55 on Tate, McCoy, Hardesty, and Claussen !!!!!!

    Jack Tripper

claussen at $55 is a bad buy

    todd

If Claussen is open with just toppers, i can promise you he'll go for at least $55.

    Jack Tripper

I'll sell anyone an option on his 3 year performance - $5 2010 for $25 in any year he is in the top 15 PAFFL QB points through 2013.

    Beavercats

    I love the talk!

    Beavercats

I made updates following the recent trades and comments on this. Generally I moved Hardesty up and Clausen down a spot, but Clausen could easily go as high as 7, Hardesty as high as 6, and McCluster anywhere from 6 to 16.

BTW - McCluster is a sleeper as KC plans to use him in a 5 carry but Wes Welker slot/mismatch role, so he could be an immediately 1000 total yard contributor at RB.

    EBF

I'm callin smokescreen on the Trippers! He secretly wants Claussen

    Todd

could we get approximately $ values on the rookies outside the top 16?

    Beavercats

Todd - feel free to make predictions on any rookie outside the top 16.

    NT

Why isn't Charlie Whitehurst on this list?

    RonJeremy

Which vet value has been hurt the most post draft? Lynch in Buffalo, Slayton in Houston, or Sproles in San Diego?

    Todd

Lynch had little to no value heading into the season as the back up to Fred Jackson.

Sproles was always going to be a 3rd down option, never the full time back.

Slaton was going to be the RB1 in Houston prior to the draft... and might still be... but I think he's no longer a top pick and is more of a RBBC type player.

So Slaton fell the most in terms of value, but Lynch is probably worth the least. He just had less to fall.

    Todd

Whitehurst isn't on the list bc he's not a rookie... and only rookies are allowed in the rookie draft.

    Todd

You can call it the Garrison Hearst rule.

That's the kind of image that i really thing is super image like. If more images very real like this were out there we'd be super full of graet images in the world.
