The Beavercats were active at the trade deadline, starting off the first of two major deals by hooking up with Team Kitty.
Team Kitty acquires WR Devin Hester ($1, '09), QB David Garrard ($55, '11) & $2 in '09 money from the Beavercats for QB Matt Hasselbeck (one year), WR Chad OchoCinco (one year) and a '10 topper/holdover.
Beavercats GM: "The Beavercats are sad to see Garrard go who has been with the squad for nearly 4 years but are happy to re-acquire for the rest of '09 Matt Hasselbeck & Chad OchoCinco who were originally Beavercats (@$14 & $11 respectively) early in their NFL careers."
