Team Kitty and the Salem Beavercats agreed to a minor, salary cap era type of deal tonight.
The Beavercats acquire QB Brodie Croyle ($25, '09) & $5 from Team Kitty for QB Vince Young ($55, '09).
Beavercats GM, "This is a tough deal for the Beavercats, we love Vince Young, he is a winner and class act. I know in my heart that he'll be a star but financial prudence proved the champion in this decision."
Analysis: Straight salary cap deal, Croyle likely will be released at the cut down date while Team Kitty invests in the long-term value of Young. It's tough to declare a winner but in the long run Young is a former rookie of the year & pro bowler who has compiled a 20-10 record in the NFL, he'll get another chance to run an NFL team.
