The Short Bus & Beavercats consummate a minor (although in each of our heads I'm sure we think its major, I know I do) deal.
Short Bus acquires WR Santonio Holmes ($22, '08) from the Beavercats for QB Matt Cassel ($8, '10*) and WR Michael Clayton (who will be released by the end of the week unless somebody wants him for a conditional $1 in the future?).
My Take: Holmes substantially upgrades the Short Bus WR core while Cassel provides depth for an underachieving Beavercats QB group. Short term Short Bus (IMO) gets the better deal but Cassel, since he's a QB and unrestricted NFL free agent this year, has much more upside.
Cassel won't survive past Week 7

it's definitely possible...though the Pats schedule is kind of a joke, they play a patsy defense (Denver) in week 7 and then its worse the following two weeks before a big matchup vs. Indy in week 10. So this coming week is big...but to be honest I think they'll stick with him until their season is done...remember they're 2-2 with Cassel as the starter in his first 4 starts in 10 years. Not bad for anybody.
