The Ron Jeremy Fanclub and Salem Beavercats have consummated a deal.
Ron Jeremy Fanclub acquires RB Michael Pittman for 2008 cap space. The amount will be determined by Pittman's 2007 performance from week 11 on thru the remainder of the season. For every 2 fantasy points (PAFFL points), the Beavercats will receiver $1, with a maximum payout of $10 in 2008 cap space.
Summary: Yes, the Beavercats can and do make deals with other PAFFL teams :) This is becoming a more popular deal format in the PAFFL (by the way its the first 100% performance based deal we've ever made) because there is no sunk cost and if the player doesn't do much there is nothing lost, but if they do play well the acquiring team is happy to pay the cost.
That's too much to shell out for washed up Pittman....but it could be a brilliant move for RJFC if Pittman starts and E Graham ends up being benched.

So Pittman's on RJFC's bench... and he scored on a meaningless 80 yard TD run in the 4th quarter...
Beavercats get $10?
Blah.

If Pittman has an 80 yard TD run during our playoffs, he's worth more than $10 in '08 cap money b/c that would essentially win a game for Ron Jeremy. I can't say whether he's in the lineup or not nor can I control that but on a per start basis over the past 4 years, Pittman has been a top 25 fantasy back. If he doesn't play, then there's nothing lost but he's also their best back right now in a playoff run for the Bucs.

Moot point, he will be in my starting lineup. My #2 rb slot is awesome!

Just to confirm...
Does Pittman need to be in RJFC's line-up for his points to count? Will the points still add up if he's on the bench?

Update: Pittman scored a grand total of 7 points between Week 11 on. That works out to $3 to the Beavercats for '08.

I suppose that's a $10 that RJFC needs to reserve....what's the plan if RJFC is broke by week 11 (i.e. no '08 cap space)?
