Protrade, a wall street stock trading platform for pro athletes, has a community that posted a long article on NFL sleepers and busts for 2007. Far from an authority, its still nice to get additional opinion and ideas when it comes to the all important Sleepers & Busts!
Some of the names tossed around are:
Sleepers
- RB Jerious Norwood
- QB JP Losman
- WR DJ Hackett
Busts
- QB Vince Young
- RB Brandon Jacobs
- RB Shaun Alexander
Why is everyone considering Jacobs a bust. If the guy get 12 Td's and 1000 yards that doesn't constitute bust material.
I like Norwood as a huge sleeper, especially as the season progresses.

I agree with you...Jacobs in my mind is a potential sleeper (though since everybody is thinking the same thing he is slowly becoming a bit overrated). Norwood could be huge but you never know how the new coaching staff will approach their personnel.

FP,
I don't think everyone is saying Jacobs will be a bust, but yes, I do agree with you that there are people out there that remain skeptical that Jacobs can transition from a goal line TD vulture to an all-purpose RB. Some believe that Jacobs will remain in a RBBC situation, even with Tiki's retirement.
While I'd be happy with 10 TDs out of my #2 RB, players like MB3 and Brandon Jacobs have a tendency to disappear for games at a time. There will be games where Jacobs gets 7 carries for 22 yards and no TDs. That's what people are concerned about.

Unfortunately I suspect Jacobs will be a boom or bust fantasy back week to week.
