In what can only be classified as the over saturation of social networking, a startup in the MidWest (I'm assuming its there b/c why else would they choose to focus on the extremely niche world of Colts fans?) has built a social networking site for Indianapolis Colts fans, called MyColts.net. In what appears to be a complete rip off of Facebook (but with a more mySpace commercial feel), the site allows fans to connect to each other, share photos, create groups and more.

Millions of Social Networks with Dozens of users. Instead of Dozens of Social Networks with Millions of users.
It's about context and purpose.

Very good point...that's clearly Ning's vision of the future. However there is a certain 'fatigue' with community sites and its unclear to me that these networks won't occur as a subtle part of a large network (say a closed or semi-open group in Facebook) rather than a niche network of its own. Time will tell for sure.
