NFL training camps start opening this week, with the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans opening it up on July 22nd (today) when their rookies report. NFL pre-season game schedule is interesting.
The hall of fame game is Sunday, August 5th between New Orleans & Pittsburgh. The preseason schedule starts in earnest the following weekend with games August 9th, 10th & 11th. The NFL Network will televise 52 games, including 8 live contests during the pre-season, which is every game except for the 13 nationally televised pre-season contests which air on CBS, ESPN, FOX or NBC.
