The Philadelphia Eagles are considering trading QB Kelly Holcomb to the Minnesota Vikings for a 2008 late-round pick, likely a sixth- or seventh-rounder according to PFW. Vikings HC Brad Childress, who is still friendly with his former Eagles co-workers, is keeping one eye open for veteran quarterbacks and possibly would be interested in Holcomb’s services.
Fantasy Prognosis: This would make sense for both teams. The Eagles already have 2nd round pick Kevin Kolb and veteran AJ Feeley, who they resigned to a multi-year deal this offseason. Minnesota on the other hand has two quarterbacks with a grand total of 4 NFL starts. If Holcomb were dealt to Minnesota, he would immediately become the favorite to start - assuming it happens before training camp and not during.
