Tennessee Titans selected Arizona RB Chris Henry with the #50 overall selection (#18 in the 2nd round) in the 2007 NFL draft. Henry has a great combination of size and speed that make him an intriguing prospect for the NFL. He likely will share carries with incumbent LenDale White.
Scouting Report:
- Position: Running Back
- Height: 6'1"
- Weight: 235
- 40 Time: 4.35
University of Arizona's Chris Henry is a massive back with
special speed who on paper has the appearance of a stud. However he never
started in high school or college and lacks the quickness &
slashing ability to be anything other than a between the tackles type
of pounder, short-yardage type back. Henry is similar to the Titans 2nd round pick LenDale
White from last year.
Fantasy Prognosis: Chris Henry will be asked to contribute immediately to a Titans team ravished by free agency. 2nd year back LenDale White will get the first opportunity to start but Henry will share carries at the very least with the possibility to carry the load if White can't handle the starting spot or Henry shows the talent to be the featured man. Expect Henry to get at 10 touches a week while being the short yardage & goal line back, worthy of a weak #3 fantasy back.
2007 Predicted Numbers:
Touches: 165 Carries, 25 Catches
Total Yards: 745 Yards
TD's: 5
