ESPN reports the Kansas City Chiefs have traded WR/KR Dante Hall to the St. Louis Rams for the Rams' fifth-round pick in 2007 NFL Draft. The Kansas City Star adds the teams also swapped picks in the third round. The Chiefs will move up two spots in the round. Hall is a very productive special teams player but is only a slot receiver at best from the line of scrimmage.
Fantasy Prognosis: Hall won't add much to St. Louis' offensive set, particularly with HC Scott Linehan's focus on ball control and traditional sets (=fullback & tight ends on the field, a forgotten practice under Mike Martz). However Hall could be a big help to the Rams special teams, so for those fantasy leaguers looking for a possible sleeper Defense/ST for 2007, don't forget Hall's addition.
