ProFootballWeekly reported that new Carolina Panthers Offensive Coordinator, Jeff Davidson, isn't committed to either veteran RB DeShaun Foster or 2nd year man DeAngelo Williams as their featured back. Davidson told a group of reporters at the Combine that he is just beginning to evaluate the backfield personnel: “I’m comfortable, but until I see them in live action … I’m going to walk the fence on that one,” Davidson said. Neither RB fits head coach John Fox' preferred power running game style, which is why speculation is running that they'll make an attempt to sign Corey Dillon or draft a back like Michael Bush to complement Williams and Foster.
Fantasy Prognosis: Wait and see what happens in free agency & the NFL draft, however its likely that neither Foster or Williams will get enough playing time individually be to startable in fantasy leagues.
